ABOUT ME
Farrand is an award-winning Executive with experience and passion for creating content in multiple fields: film, television, commercial, digital, social, print and experiential. She has 20+ years of experience in development, production, and post-production both on the agency and vendor side.
Farrand started her career in freelance commercial and television production working with TLC, Park Pictures, and Moxie.
From 2006-2011 Farrand worked as a development, production and post executive at independent motion picture studios. At the Film Department she served as a Development + Post-Production Executive and worked on films Law Abiding Citizen and The Rebound. Farrand went on to serve as the Director of Development and Production at Miscellaneous Entertainment until she left to form her company Gare Farrand Entertainment. Gare Farrand Entertainment produced the films Coldwater, (SXSW Film Festival), and Dude Bro Party Massacre III, (LA Film Festival Premiere).
In 2012 Farrand returned to advertising, and produced a variety of work for clients Conde Nast Entertainment, Major League Soccer, Verizon, Chrysler, Cheerios and The White House (ACA). In addition to brands, Farrand worked with major agencies including BBDO, Droga5, Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann, Y&R, and Ogilvy.
Farrand left the freelance world to serve as the Executive Producer and Managing Director of KYLE nyc. She managed the award-winning editorial company, adding creative and production lines of business to make the company a sought after one-source solution for content creation. KYLE’s work spanned digital, social and broadcast for both agencies and brands.
After KYLE merged with Moondog, Farrand took a position as the Executive Producer for the advertising agency Laundry Service and their production company Cycle Media. She managed all projects from inception to completion for brands including Anheuser-Busch, Netflix, T-Mobile, Nike, L’Oreal, Facebook, Under Armour, and Papa Johns, among others. Content included TV commercials, digital, radio, social, photo, experiential, and branded series.
Farrand left Laundry Service to return to freelance Executive Producer work producing campaigns for Starbucks, L’Oreal, Altice, Marc Jacobs, Maybelline, JCPenney and Samsung,
In 2020 Farrand took a staff Executive Content Producer position at R/GA for two year.s At R/GA Farrand produced work for Samsung, Verizon, American Express, Chase, JP Morgan, Ally, and Sephora.
In 2022 Farrand moved to TBWA\Chiat\Day as an Executive Producer for Nissan.
Farrand has traveled extensively in the US and internationally to produce content.
